Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Topeka, Kansas. Conceptual plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
Prepare engineering plans, bidding documents, and cost estimates. Assist the Shawnee County Department of Public Works with Utility Coordination as defined in the Shawnee County Design Criteria, latest edition. Provide construction engineering services. Plans shall be prepared in accordance with Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT) Design Standards for Bridges, latest edition. Construction engineering services shall be provided in accordance with KDOT Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction and City of Topeka / Shawnee County Standard Technical Specifications, latest editions and addenda thereto. All vendors are required to create an online portal account and all responses must be submitted through the bid portal. All prices and conditions must be shown. Additions or conditions not shown on this bid will not be allowed. Price quoted shall remain firm for ninety (90) days after bid closing date. Shawnee County reserves the right to accept or reject any part of, or all of, any bid or proposal. All prices quoted are to be less Federal Excise Tax and Kansas Sales Tax. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. Request for Proposal for Design Services is Underway
