The pre-bid meeting will be held on 4/20/26 at 9:00a at 417 Main Street, City of Huron. ** Sealed bids will be received for the "ERI Huron South Main Street Streetscape." Only ODOT Pre-qualified contractors are eligible to submit bids. Pre-qualification status must be active at the time of bid, at award, and throughout the construction contract. Each bid must include the full names of all parties making the bid, an affidavit as to interested parties, and, for corporations not chartered in Ohio, a certificate authorizing them to do business in Ohio. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty Bond for the full amount (100%) of the bid, or a certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit in the amount of 10% of the bid. All instructions must be followed, including purchasing a set of plans and bid documents and being on the Plan Holders List. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids or waive informalities as deemed favorable. Pre-qualification requirements: Only ODOT Pre-qualified contractors are eligible to submit bids for this project. Pre-qualification status must be in force at the time of bid, at the time of award, and through the life of the construction contract. The Scope of Work for the ERI Huron Main St. Project consists of the following: _ Base Bid work includes: o Roadway resurfacing o Pedestrian streetscape improvements including concrete sidewalks, decorative paver amenity strip, and decorative paver pedestrian plazas o Enhanced pedestrian crosswalks o Dedicated concrete shared use path o Decorative street lighting o Wayfinding signage o Landscaping _ Follow the OMUTCD for maintenance of traffic, signage, safety, etc.
