HMA Joint and Crack Sealing for 21.2 miles on Waupeton Rd, Dyersville East Rd, Olde Castle Rd, and Farley Rd. The work includes traffic control, flaggers, pilot cars, mobilization, crack and joint cleaning and sealing (HMA surfaces), and sealer material. Proposals must be filed on furnished forms, sealed, and plainly marked. Proposals with reservations not provided for in the forms may be rejected. The County Board reserves the right to waive technicalities and reject any or all bids. Attention is directed to the Special Provisions regarding bidder qualifications and subletting or assigning of the contract. Prospective bidders must be on the current Iowa Department of Transportation or local county list of qualified bidders unless bids are received solely for materials, supplies, or equipment. Sales tax exemption certificates will be issued to the successful bidder and subcontractors for qualifying materials. All work must comply with the Standard Specifications of the IDOT, Series 2023, and current supplemental specifications. Bids must include unit prices and extensions for each item. Bidders are required to have examined the work site and understand the approximate quantities subject to increase or decrease, and to perform all work required by the plans and specifications at stipulated unit prices. The proposal guaranty is $12,500.00.
