Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, transportation, permits, and equipment necessary to perform chemical vegetation control within the Franklin Falls Dam flood control project area. Work includes herbicide treatment of vegetation less than three inches in diameter at breast height in multiple designated treatment areas. Base Treatment Area No. 1 includes herbicide application to all vegetation less than three inches DBH at parking areas, in front of garages, and along walkways, totaling approximately 1.15 acres. Base Treatment Area No. 2 includes herbicide treatment of all non-native invasive plants, shrubs, and trees less than three inches DBH, totaling approximately 3.1 acres. Base Treatment Area No. 3 includes herbicide treatment of all non-native invasive plants, shrubs, and trees less than three inches DBH over approximately 22.5 acres. Option Treatment Area No. 1 includes herbicide treatment of all non-native invasive plants, shrubs, and trees less than three inches DBH over approximately 44.4 acres. Option Treatment Area No. 2 includes herbicide treatment of all woody vegetation less than three inches DBH within ten feet on each side of woods road edges, totaling approximately 6.2 miles in length or 15.03 acres. Treated species include any non-native invasive vegetation to New Hampshire, and work areas include wooded areas, open fields, roadway edges, and areas surrounding the dam. All work shall be performed in strict accordance with the Performance Work Statement.
