Project work includes: Patuxent Plant Reservoir 1: recoating the interior and exterior of the tank (excluding the roof), replacing the overflow pipe, replacing the overflow flapper valve with an enclosed check valve and duckbill, repairing all caulking joints on the exterior tank foundation and drainage basin, replacing existing influent piping with new piping, recoating the edge corrosion on the existing effluent pipe and bottom drain, repairing areas of failed caulking on the tank roof, replacing the traction grip tape and other appurtenances on the tank roof, and removing the existing cathodic protection system.
