Edmonton Base Infrastructure Improvement Program for the Department of National Defence at CFB Edmonton and related dependencies of Edmonton, Alberta. Recapitalization of the Edmonton Base Program is centered on the following key focus areas: 1) Mobility Infrastructure: roadway construction, resurfacing, hydrants and valve repairs, and airfield scope. 2) Facility Recap: mechanical and electrical upgrades, roofing and structural upgrades, interior and exterior retrofits, tenant improvements, new builds. 3) Remote Locations: renovations, retrofit, and or new builds for all remote locations under the RP Ops portfolio. 4) Support Systems: refuelling washing area for military vehicles, communication network upgrades, and drainage service enhancements. 5) Environmental & Safety Works: vegetation management, fence-line clearing, firebreak upgrades, and fence repair reinforcement where required. TIMELINE: The owner has issued an Advance Procurement Notice (APN) to inform contractors of the upcoming contract opportunity at CFB Edmonton expected in summer 2026. To be eligible for contract award, proponents will be required to actively hold or obtain all required security clearances prior to the date of the award, as further detailed in the solicitation documents. The anticipated security clearance level for this contract is Designated Organization Screening (DOS). This project may include Indigenous businesses participation component in accordance with the Procurement Strategy for Indigenous Business (PSIB). Contractors are advised to initiate any necessary steps related to security clearances and to ensure their application is complete and accurate as required by the sponsorship process.
