Renovation of a municipal facility in Apex, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 43,880-square-foot municipal facility.

Contractor is required to identify participation of Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (MWBE) in its proposal and document how that participation is achieved. There is a verifiable goal of ten percent (10%) for participation by minority businesses in the total value of work for the Project Work includes interior renovations of the first floor of the Apex Town Hall Building to accommodate the Human Resources Department and on the second floor to construct a new AV Room. The area of renovation is approximately +/- 4,900 sf and includes improvements to the northeast side of the first floor and north side of the second floor. Interior renovation work includes selective demolition, new interior framing and suspended ceilings, modifications to the existing mechanical systems, reuse and rework of the existing electrical systems, new plumbing fixtures, and new finishes and casework. Building portions outside of the area of renovation will remain occupied during construction. Bids will be received for single prime contract. All proposals shall be lump sum. Sealed proposals are solicited for the construction of Human Resources Office Renovations at the Town of Apex Town Hall. Complete plans and specifications are available from Accent Imaging's PlanScope Planroom System or Hobbs Architects, PA. There is a plan deposit required for hardcopies. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all proposals. A mandatory open pre-bid meeting for all interested General Contractors will be held to address project specific questions, issues, bidding procedures, and bid forms, as well as to identify preferred brand alternates and their performance standards for owner consideration. The deadline for questions is April 27, 2026.
