The project consists of the construction of approximately 7,000 linear feet of various sized storm sewers, drainage structures, culverts, pavement patching, parkway restoration, and all other incidental work necessary to complete this improvement according to the plans, Standard Specifications, and Special Provisions. The work is located within certain streets in Lockport Township and sections of Fairview Avenue within the City of Joliet. The project is funded by the United States American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) and must adhere to the funding requirements as outlined in the construction documents. The work is subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act for public works projects in Will County. Bid proposals must be submitted in opaque, sealed, and clearly marked envelopes. No oral, faxed, or e-mail bids will be considered. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond addressed to Lockport Township for ten percent (10%) of the bid amount. Bid documents are available only through Demandstar. All bidder inquiries must be made in writing to Engineering Resource Associates, Inc. Lockport Township reserves the right to waive technicalities, accept or reject any or all bids, and accept only portions of a bid and reject the remainder. The contractor must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, regulations, and executive orders, including those pertaining to equal employment opportunity. Lockport Township is not responsible for any costs associated with the submittal of bids for this project.
