The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary to perform the CLC and 4th Floor Patient Elopement System Upgrade in accordance with the Statement of Work. The work includes installation and integration of upgraded patient elopement system components serving the Community Living Center and fourth floor, along with all associated electrical work. The contractor shall comply with all applicable federal, state, and local codes, regulations, and standards, ensure proper worker classification, and adhere to all wage and hour requirements. All work shall be completed as specified in the contract documents and coordinated to support continued facility operations as required. This project is located in Building 17, in the CLC, and Building 1, on the 4 th floor at the Wilmington VA Medical Center. This project involves all demo and replacement of existing Stanley WanderGuard system with upgraded and improved Patient elopement technology. New Patient Elopement technology must include integrated technologies such as fall detection and nurse call on a single platform. This platform must be portable (worn by the patient) and provide nurse staff with the location of the patient when the nurse call or the fall detection is triggered. o The project boundaries for Building 17 include but not limited to building 17 starting at the entrances and exits of the CLC where the existing WanderGuard systems bounds are. Other items required to be installed outside of these project boundaries to meet the goals of the project are acceptable.
