Site work for a mixed-use development in Saint Joe, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The project consists of constructing approximately 3,100 linear feet of water main improvements, two railroad jack & bore water main crossings installation, one horizontal direction drilled state route water main crossing installation, concrete sidewalk, concrete ADA-compliant curb ramps, and seeding/restoration. The work includes all general construction, mechanical installation, labor, materials, permits, licenses, insurance, and incidental requirements necessary for the construction. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked with the project and the bidder's name and address. All bids must be on specified bid forms and accompanied by a certified check or acceptable bidder's bond in a sum of not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the highest aggregate bid. Performance and payment bonds for 100% of the contract price are required. Bidders must comply with applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including the Davis-Bacon wage scale, affirmative action, minority and women-owned business participation (10%), veteran-owned business participation (3%), Buy America requirements, and various other federal compliance statutes, as detailed in the project specifications. Bidders are responsible for inspecting the project site and reviewing all contract documents and specifications. Award will be made to the low, responsive, responsible bidder who is not debarred or suspended from federally assisted programs. 10% MBE/WBE Question Deadline 04/20/2026
