The work includes exterior abrasive blast cleaning of a 150,000 gallon double ellipse elevated water storage tank to an SSPC-SP6 commercial standard within containment and application of a four-coat zinc epoxy urethane fluoropolymer system. The wet interior requires abrasive blast cleaning to an SSPC-SP10 near-white metal standard, application of a three-coat zinc epoxy system, and polyurethane caulk application to roof lap seams. Pit piping will be abrasive blast cleaned to an SSPC-SP6 standard and receive a two-coat epoxy system. Foundation work includes repairing grout and spalls, abrasive blast cleaning, and application of a two-coat epoxy system. Repairs include: replacement of the riser manway and wet interior roof hatch, installation of deflector bars on the fill draw pipe, overflow discharge modification, installation of a fall prevention device on the leg ladder, roof sidewall platform and wet interior ladder, balcony drain holes and access modification, replacement of the roof vent with a pressure vacuum vent, installation of cathodic clips and pressure fitting, welding steel plates over cathodic lift holes, installation of a roof handrail with a painter’s railing, bowl rigging couplings, riser grate, repair of damaged electrical conduit, and installation of a kickplate at the penetration in the balcony floor.
