Work in general consists of abrasive blasting and recoating the dry interior and exterior of the existing water tower located south of North Street and 800 feet west of 6th Street within the City of Jesup, Iowa. Contractor shall fully complete by August 28, 2026. Should the contractor fail to complete the work in this timeframe, liquidated damages of $1,000 per calendar day will be assessed for work not completed within the designated contract term. Bids will be received and accepted only through QuestCDN.com via the online electronic bid service (QuestvBid) for the construction of the water tower painting. Complete digital project documents are available at fehrgraham.com biddingdocuments. Bidding documents must be downloaded from QuestCDN to be added to the plan holder list and to submit an online bid, which is required for this project. Hard copies of the bid documents may also be obtained and examined from the office of the Engineer, 221 East Main Street, Suite 301, Manchester, Iowa 52057, with a refundable deposit if certain conditions are met. Downloading the electronic bid documents is required for online bidding even if hard copy plans are obtained.
