Description of Bid Items: • Lake Edge Drive Storm Sewer Cleaning, Televising, and Lining (Item 1) covers all costs associated with the lining of the sections of storm sewer shown on the plans at this location. o The costs involved in bringing equipment to and removing equipment from the project area. All mobilization, demobilization and similar fixed costs shall be included in this bid item. o The costs involved in setting up equipment to clean and televise a section of existing storm sewer in preparation for the subsequent cleaning and televising operation shall be included in this bid item. A construction staging/ lining plan should be submitted to Public Works for review prior to commencing work. o The costs of cleaning and televising of the storm sewer of the diameters indicated on the plans necessary to prepare the pipelines for lining shall be included in this bid item. Cleaning shall include cutting of roots or taps that protrude into the storm sewer. o The costs involved in setting up equipment to line a section of existing storm sewer in preparation for the subsequent cleaning or lining operation shall be included in this bid item. o The construction of a 6-millimeter finished thickness lining in the storm sewers of the diameters indicated on the project plans and televising after the lining has been placed shall be included in this bid item. The circumferential joint between the liner and the existing pipe at the end of each section shall be sealed so that groundwater cannot infiltrate and run along the space between the liner and the pipe, and into the manhole. o The unit of measurement shall be per lump sum. • Bremer Road Storm Sewer Cleaning, Televising, and Lining (Item 2) covers all costs associated with the lining of the sections of storm sewer shown on the plans at this location. o The costs involved in bringing equipment to and removing equipment from the project area.
