Renovation of an educational facility in Murray, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Phase I HVAC upgrades including replacement of existing steam converter with two 1500 MBH natural gas-fired hot water boilers, new gas service to the building, new water softener for makeup water, primary-secondary pumping system, flue piping routed through a new fire-rated chase, rebalancing of existing heating coils, and installation of a new Building Management System. Bids are to be submitted on the official forms supplied by the university and must be submitted as two separate submittals through the Lynn Imaging Website: Phase I (firm experience, references, and proposed team) and Phase II (form of proposal with pricing). Only those Prime Contractors who have obtained Plans and Bid Documents directly from Lynn Imaging will be eligible to submit a bid for this project. Bids will be evaluated based on price (60%) and experience of firm and proposed team (40%). Bidders must submit resumes and experience for the project manager and key technical staff, as well as a list of key subcontractors for multiple disciplines. The project requires a bid guarantee of not less than five percent of the base bid and a 100% performance payment bond from the successful bidder. There is no fee for an electronic download of plans, but contractors must cover printing fees if paper copies are desired. All bids must be submitted electronically; physical submittals are not required. No bidder may withdraw their bid for a period of sixty days after the date set for opening of bids, and clerical errors or omissions are not grounds for withdrawal without forfeiture of bid bond. The university reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive formalities or technicalities in the best interest of the university. Phase I Submittal consisting of the experience of the firm, references and the proposed team must be submitted by: May 11, 2026 AT NOON CST. Phase II Submittal - Form of Proposal with Pricing must be submitted by: May 12, 2026 AT 2:00 PM CST Questions about obtaining plans and specifications may be directed to Darcie Liddle @ dliddle@murraystate.edu Question Deadline 05/01/2026 All questions regarding the meaning or interpretation of the Bidding Documents shall be directed in writing to the Purchasing Agent. Questions received less than ten (10) calendar days prior to the date for receipt of Bids may not be answered.
