Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Talladega, Alabama. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project consists of interior and exterior rehabilitation along with repairs of two potable water storage tanks and related appurtenances. Sealed bids are required. Bid security must be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. All bidders must submit, upon request, a list of projects successfully completed in the last 2 years with a similar scope of work and cost. Bidders must comply with the Contractor's Licensing Law of the State of Alabama and be certified for the type of work proposed. Evidence of a valid license, clearly displayed on the outside of the proposal envelope, is required for bids exceeding the amount established by the State Licensing Board for General Contractors. Bids must be delivered on time, and no bid may be withdrawn within 60 days after opening. The Owner reserves the right to waive informalities, reject any or all bids, and award the contract to the best and most responsible bidder. Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
