Sealed proposals from Qualified General Contractors are requested for two projects: a new driveway for Lincoln High School and a new batting facility for Munford High School. A cashier's check or bid bond, not less than five percent of the proposal amount (not exceeding $10,000), must accompany each bid. Performance and Payment Bonds, along with evidence of insurance, are required upon signing the contract. Contractors must provide evidence of proper licensing for the project classification and supply this information before plans and specifications are issued. Only General Contractors on the Official Bidders List, who have obtained contract documents from the Architect or authorized provider, may submit bids. Bids must be submitted on proposal forms provided by the Architect. Bidders exceeding the State Licensing Board limits must display their General Contractor's License Number on the outside of the sealed proposal envelope. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and waive technical errors in the best interest of the Owner.
