The scope of work is for Plumbing Repair and Maintenance Services for the Anaheim Convention Center. All services provided must conform to the specifications detailed in the Scope of Work, identified as "Attachment A." Bids must be submitted only for the items and/or services stated in the Scope of Work; bids for other than the listed items or services will not be considered. No adjustments to the Scope of Work will be authorized without prior written approval. The contractor shall pay promptly for all labor, materials, and equipment used in the performance of the work and shall not permit any liens or charges to attach to the work or premises. No substitutions will be accepted unless prior written approval is received. The City makes no commitment regarding specific quantities during the term of the agreement; all quantities shown are annual estimates and used to evaluate bid results. Pricing for the initial contract period shall remain fixed, and any changes to price after the base year will be negotiated and tied to the designated Consumer Price Index. Contractors must have a valid C-36 Plumbing Contractor’s license, be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations, and have satisfactory references or prior work with the City. Bidders must submit a bond for 10% of their total bid amount. Subcontracting is not allowed without written City consent. All work performed by subcontractors must meet City approval. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to make multiple awards, and to withdraw or cancel the solicitation at any time. All bids must be responsive and include the required completed submittals as described in the Vendor Questionnaire. Electronic bids must be submitted via the City’s portal as instructed. Upon contract award, the winning bidder must provide required insurance, a signed W-9, and labor/materials and performance bonds. The contractor is responsible for obtaining all needed insurance with the specified minimum coverage. All additional charges, substitutions, or changes require prior written approval from the City.
