Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Anaheim, California. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; and playground / park / athletic field.
Construction will consist of constructing a skate park, including a stormwater management system, planting and irrigation, two shade structures, an interpretive sign, pedestrian walkway, a seatwall, and other related improvements. Bids shall be prepared and submitted in singular and in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bids shall include all documents as prescribed in the Proposal document. Bidders shall refer to the Instructions to Bidders and Standard Specification Supplement issued with the bid documents for additional requirements. The original Bid Bond or Cashier's Check for 10% of the amount of the Bid made payable to the City of Anaheim shall be submitted to the City Clerk prior to the specified bid due date and time or as revised via addendum to the project documents. Contractors must register on the website in order to download the bid documents (including plans and specifications). Bidders may refer to the Bid Information tab on OpenGov for other details including the engineer's estimate, project duration, and license requirements. Bidders shall agree not to withdraw Bids for a period of sixty days after the date of opening of the Bids. The awarded Contractor and subcontractors are subject to Federal and State policies and requirements mandated by the grantors. The awarded Contractor and subcontractors shall pay not less than the higher of the two rates contained in the current general prevailing wage rate(s) and per diem rate(s) established by the Director of the Department of Industrial Relations of the State of California, or by the Secretary of Labor. This project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations. No contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal or be awarded a contract for public work on a Public Works project unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5. This project is covered as "Project Work" in the Second Amended and Restated Community Workforce Agreement (CWA). irregularities or technicalities. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, or waive any informalities, irregularities or technicalities. A bid protest shall specify the reasons and facts upon which the protest is based and shall be in writing and received by the City Clerk's Office and an electronic copy to the project Contract Administrator no later than five calendar days after bid opening date.
