Greenbrier County Schools is soliciting sealed proposals from qualified, licensed plumbing contractors to provide comprehensive plumbing services for all district facilities as needed. The selected contractor will support both routine maintenance and emergency response needs across the school system. Scope of services includes: general plumbing maintenance and repair; diagnostic services; installation and replacement of plumbing fixtures, piping, and related systems; emergency response services; and coordination with district staff during planned and unplanned work. Proposals must include a detailed rate schedule with standard hourly rates (during normal business hours), after-hours rates, weekend and holiday rates, emergency response rates (including any minimum charges or call-out fees), and material markup. The contractor must maintain availability for emergency response (including after-hours and weekends), provide regular communication with the Facilities Director or designee, comply with all applicable regulations, maintain appropriate licensing, insurance, and background checks for all personnel, and execute a service contract outlining expectations, response times, and performance standards. Proposals must include a company profile and qualifications, proof of licensure and insurance, rate schedule, description of emergency response capabilities, and references from comparable clients.
