The project involves the removal of an underground storage tank and installation of an aboveground tank at the bus garage, 1740 Lake St., Niles, MI 49120. Bidders are required to be reputable, recognized organizations with at least five years of successful experience in similar projects and have sufficient financial resources for the job. Each bid must include a bid bond not less than 5% of the bid amount, and the successful bidder must provide 100% performance, labor, and material bonds from a qualified surety company. The project is a prevailing wage job. The Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any bids, waive irregularities, and make awards in the best interest of the owner.
