All questions shall be directed to Frank Renaldi by 5pm, Friday, May 1, 2026. For the construction of the Grinder Pump Station and Force Main Installation Project. The work for which bids are being requested consists of the following: Contract : Installation of a duplex grinder station, 960LF HDPE force main by directional drill, electrical panel for flow meter and grinder station controller and various appurtenances. A certified check or bank draft drawn on a solvent bank in the State of Michigan payable without condition to the OWNER or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and a surety company, in an amount equal to 5 percent of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Bond in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract price. Bond forms are included in the Contract Documents. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities in bidding. The use of local contractors and labor is encouraged. If any person contemplating submitting a bid for this Contract is in doubt as to the true meaning of any part of the plans, specifications, or other proposed Contract Documents, he may submit to the OWNER a written request for an interpretation thereof. Project Description: The project consists of placing 960 2-inch HDPE force main by directional drilling and a pre-fabricated grinder station and electrical connections. Notable items in the work include: 1. Directional Drill across RV Park land, in an easement across the old railroad grade and across M-139 to the connection point. 2. Installation of a metering chamber, 3. Connection to a township manhole on the west side of M-139, and 4. Electrical connections to all appurtenances.
