Renovation of a multi-residential development in Niles, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
Installation of gutters for the CDBG Home Repair Program. Contractors shall inspect the existing gutter system and submit a bid for either repair or complete replacement, whichever they determine is necessary to provide a fully functional, watertight gutter system . The bid shall clearly indicate whether it is for repair or replacement and describe the scope of work. 1. Inspection and Assessment Inspect all gutters, downspouts, hangers, fasteners, end caps, corners, outlets, and related components. Identify areas requiring repair or replacement due to leaks, corrosion, sagging, improper slope, loose connections, physical damage, or other deficiencies. 2. Repair (If Applicable) Repair damaged sections of gutters and downspouts as necessary to restore proper function. Replace damaged or missing hangers, brackets, fasteners, end caps, elbows, outlets, or other components. Reseal leaking joints, seams, corners, and end caps using materials appropriate for exterior gutter systems. Re-secure and realign gutters to provide proper pitch and positive drainage toward downspouts. Clean debris from gutters and downspouts to ensure unobstructed water flow. 3. Replacement (If Applicable) Remove and properly dispose of existing gutters and downspouts as necessary. Install new seamless aluminum gutters, minimum 5-inch profile, with 2-inch x 3- inch aluminum downspouts. Install hidden hangers spaced no more than 24 inches on center.
