The Village Board of the Village of De Soto is accepting seasonal bids for the upkeep of the De Soto Cemetery during the 2026 Season. This includes: mowing and line trimming the cemetery as needed, including areas adjacent to the boundary fence, above the retainment wall, and around all headstones; removing excess lawn clippings and debris; cutting down and trimming nuisance trees in or around fences; rolling the lawn to smooth out mole runs; and performing general upkeep. Bidders will provide their own equipment. Proof of liability insurance is required. The yearly contract will be paid on a monthly basis for the 2026 mowing season (May to September). All bids must be presented to the clerk by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 5, 2026. Bids may be mailed or emailed to the addresses provided.
