Demolition, site work and new construction of a multi-residential development in Ticonderoga, New York. Completed plans call for the demolition of a 1,000-square-foot, one-story above grade, one-unit, three-bed, five-room multi-residential development.

North Country Rural Development is soliciting proposals from qualified manufactured home retailers and site work contractors to replace a substandard manufactured home with a new, ENERGY STAR® Certified manufactured home. The project must comply with the NYS HOME Program Manual for Manufactured Housing Replacement and all applicable HUD, state, and local requirements. Proposals are welcome from manufactured home retailers able to provide and install HUD- and ENERGY STAR–certified homes, site work contractors able to complete foundation/slab, utility connections, grading, and demolition work, or teams including both. Scope of work includes: - Preparation and submission of a detailed site plan prior to construction or installation. - Securing all necessary local and state permits for site work, foundation, septic, demolition, and utility connections. - Pre-construction site evaluation to identify subcontractors, site conditions, and necessary pricing updates. - Provision and installation of a new, ENERGY STAR® Certified Manufactured Home, three-bedroom, two-bath, single-wide, 1000 sq ft minimum, electric-only system, with specified appliances and features. - Foundations must comply with HUD, New York State Building Code, and cold-climate best practices, with proper drainage and grading to divert water from the foundation, and insulation to meet HUD recommendations. - Site preparation including excavation, grading, and utility placement, with backfill, connection to utilities, and insulated skirting installation. - Construction of self-supporting, pressure-treated entry decks, landings, stairs, or ramps as required by code without transferring loads to the home. - Grading, seeding, erosion control, and stone placement around the foundation. - Complete removal and legal disposal of the existing home and debris, with receipts provided. - Obtaining a Certificate of Installation or local final inspection approval for setup and site work, and post-construction radon testing. Proposals must include company information, proof of insurance and workers compensation, itemized cost estimate, estimated project schedule, spec sheet for proposed model, and potential floor plan. Separate proposals from home retailers and site contractors are welcomed; one entity must act as the general contractor. MWBE, DBE, and SDVOB participation goals apply.
