Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Gloucester Point, Virginia. Completed plans call for the construction of a 15,000-square-foot conference / convention center; and for site work for a conference / convention center.
The proposed facility is a new 15,000 square-foot steel frame and brick masonry building with substantial fenestration to allow views through the facility to the water beyond. The facility is comprised of, but not limited to, spaces to support conference/events, seminars, lab/classrooms, offices and catering/demonstration kitchen. It is also intended to construct a rooftop terrace space for the purposes of events. The building includes meeting rooms with views of the York river, an auditorium for large lecture series, and a roof terrace for big events.
