Site work and paving for a road / highway in North East, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Option A Item 1A, 3750 Tons of Superpave Binder Course Option B Item 1B, 3300 Tons of Superpave Binder Course Liquidated damages apply at the rate of $975.00 per calendar day. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid, made payable to the municipality. A performance bond or certified check in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder within 20 days after the contract is awarded. Cole Road (T751) from SR 89 to SR 426 (11,125 LF x 24 LF) at a depth of 2 1/4" (Option A) or at a depth of 2" (Option B). Both options include approx 25 LF of German Rd (T758) at the intersection. Furnish and place either 2 1/4" (250#/SY) or 2" (220#/SY) of Superpave Binder Course on Cole Road as specified above. Both options included approx. 25 LF of German Road at the intersection of Cole Road. The Municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
