Renovation of an educational facility in Greensboro, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The existing fire alarm system, including all devices, wiring, and conduits, shall be completely removed. A new addressable voice evacuation fire alarm system, with all associated devices, wiring, and conduit, shall be installed. The existing fire alarm system in the school is to be removed only after the new fire alarm system is installed, inspected, and approved by the City of Greensboro/Guilford County Fire marshal’s office. Bidders must be properly licensed for the work in accordance with Section 87 of the North Carolina General Statutes. A 5% Bid Bond and 100% Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds are required. E-Verify compliance is mandatory. Minority businesses are encouraged to submit bids, and forms regarding participation by Women and Minority Owned Businesses must be submitted with each bid. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities.
