This project is to secure a firm, delivered price for exterior painting services at two locations: Latham Park and West Market Street Ballfields (Restroom & Press Box). The bid must include all aspects of the project as specified in the Request for Bid, with no additional charges allowed. Bidders must provide a firm, fixed price for each location and respond to all line items. The work is classified under building maintenance, installation, and repair services. Bidders are to supply a list of all equipment to be used, a project approach summary including process, safety considerations, type of paint, workmanship and product warranty, and their approach to working in a heavily visited area. Bidders must confirm they have visited the project site to assess conditions. Instructions to bidders: Bidders must submit their bid electronically through the specified e-procurement system, ensuring the bid is fully completed and marked as “Submitted.” Affidavits regarding M/WBE participation must be signed and notarized. The bidder must provide contact information for order and contract recipient, proof of insurance within three days of notice of intent to award, evidence of registration with the NC Secretary of State, and background checks for each employee. The bidder must have at least three years of regular and continuous experience in providing these services, be able to provide a minimum of three references for comparable projects, and must have completed at least ten similar jobs in the last three years. The City only solicits bids through designated official channels. Bids in “Draft” status will not be considered.
