The THRIVE Cornhill project in the City of Utica, Oneida County, involves the new construction of two four-story residential buildings creating a total of 102 affordable apartments for households earning at or below 70 percent of the Area Median Income. The development will also include commercial space and community program space designed to support resident and neighborhood needs. The project includes 15 units with supportive services for individuals aged 55 and older with a chronic condition or physical disability, as well as four units with supportive services for young adults who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. The development is being undertaken by People First, the Municipal Housing Authority of the City of Utica, with state financing support announced by Governor Kathy Hochul.
