The work consists of the milling and paving of the existing parking lot and all other associated work included within the bid documents at Brookside Elementary School. All necessary bid specifications and bid forms may be secured upon filling out the bid request form. All bidders must use and complete all bid forms and comply with every requirement contained in the instructions and specifications. Every bid must be accompanied by a certified check or a bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid, not exceeding $20,000. All bidders and their subcontractors must be registered with the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development under the Public Works Contractor Registration Act. All bids must be accompanied by a Certificate from the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development and a New Jersey Business Registration Certificate for both the bidder and all subcontractors. Bidders must comply with requirements regarding discrimination and affirmative action. No bidder on the State Treasurer's or Federal Government's List of Debarred, Suspended or Disqualified Bidders is eligible. The contract shall be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder whose bid is responsive to all requirements. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any minor informality if it is in the best interest of the Board.
