The City of Alhambra, Public Works Department, is soliciting proposals from qualified and experienced companies to provide comprehensive janitorial and cleaning services for City parking structures. Services include emptying waste receptacles, removing debris, bi-monthly pressure washing of stairways, cleaning and sanitizing elevator floors, doors, and interior walls, removal of graffiti, use of a vacuum sweeper truck for floor cleaning, and other janitorial tasks necessary to maintain the parking structures in a clean, safe, and presentable condition. The contractor must provide qualified and dependable personnel with demonstrated experience in janitorial and custodial services for public facilities. Proposers are strongly encouraged to visit all three locations prior to submitting a proposal to become familiar with the site conditions and scope of services. Submission of a proposal shall be considered evidence that proposers have satisfied themselves as to all conditions affecting the work. It is imperative that key personnel have the background, experience, and qualifications in similar projects.
