Renovation of a library in Etowah, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 2,900-square-foot, two-story above grade library.
The City of Etowah proposes an interior renovation of the lower level of the Historic Etowah Carnegie Library to create a functional and welcoming space for community use. The project will transform the lower level into a flexible environment that supports a wide range of public activities and gatherings. The scope of work includes construction of a large multipurpose room, a kitchenette, new restrooms, and four office spaces. The improvements are intended to support community services, meetings, and small group functions while enhancing the usability of the historic facility. Construction Documents will be made available to bidders via electronic transmission by emailing Macy Rudell at mrudell@michaelgraves.com. Sealed bids shall be submitted as one hard copy in a sealed envelope clearly labeled with the project title and delivered to the Commission Chambers at the Etowah Community Center, 155 Robinson Street, Etowah, TN 3733. Submittals will be publicly opened and read aloud. The last day for questions to be submitted is April 24th, 2026 by 12:00pm. All questions should be emailed to mrudell@michaelgraves.com
