Sealed Bids Mohican Township Trustees would like to receive bids on the following: MC-3000, MC-30, MC-70, MC-800 Liquid Asphalt applied. Bid should be for price per gallon for one pass application (up to 20 feet wide) for oil and stone and should include loading and hauling stone from the township garage to the necessary township roads, rolling the same and traffic control. Price per ton for hot mix / surface asphalt applied. Bid should include cost of hot mix/ surface asphalt applied to township roads as well as traffic control. Separate contracts may be awarded for the categories above. For bids to apply hot mix and/or liquid asphalt, no bid will be accepted without the bidder submitting one of the following bid guaranties at the time the bid is submitted: 1) A bid and performance bond for the full amount of the bid in the form prescribed by R.C. 153.571, or 2) A certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit in the amount of ten percent of the bid. If option 2 is selected, the successful bidder must execute a performance bond upon acceptance of the bid. Bid guaranties will be returned upon execution of the contract. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The Board reserves the right to waive irregularities. Prevailing wage applies to this project for all contracts awarded that exceed the prevailing wage threshold for the year.
