Site work and paving for a road / highway in Martic Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Sealed proposals are invited for paving in-place Old Pinnacle Road under a single prime contract, with bids submitted on a lump sum and unit price basis. Suppliers may bid on any or all items. Proposals must be on forms provided by the municipality and be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to 10% of the bid, payable to the municipality. Construction is funded in part by a federal grant (Community Development Block Grant) and is subject to the Davis Bacon Act, requiring payment of prevailing wages per the U.S. Department's Wage Decision in the specifications. Compliance with Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968, Executive Order 11246, and all applicable federal anti-discrimination and Equal Employment Opportunity requirements is mandatory. An executed Attachment B from the Section 3 Action Plan, included in the specifications, must be submitted with the bid or it will be rejected as non-responsive. Qualified Minority and Women Owned Businesses are encouraged to participate. The municipality reserves the right to limit or reject any or all proposals, waive any defects, errors, or irregularities, and all bidders must be registered with SAM.gov.
