The project consists of the installation of new standby power system which includes a natural gas-fueled generator and new automatic transfer switch (ATS), electrical system modifications for ATS and new variable frequency drive, vertical turbine pump, motor replacement, piping modification and construction of elevated concrete generator pad as indicated in the Drawings and Technical Specifications. An alternate is included to possibly abandon/remove existing underground storage tank (UST) system and associated piping/conduit as indicated in the Drawings and Technical Specifications. State of Ohio Prevailing Wage Rates for Building Construction apply. This is a water treatment plant generator and electrical improvements project involving installation or upgrade of backup power systems and electrical infrastructure. May require electrical contractor licensing, 10% bid bond, and 100% performance bond. Questions submitted outside of digital portal will not be answered Project Work excluding Generator and ATS Work Substantial Completion: 240 days from written Notice to Proceed Final Completion: 270 days from written Notice to Proceed Entire Project Work including Generator and ATS Work Substantial Completion: 330 days from written Notice to Proceed Final Completion: 365 days from written Notice to Proceed Substantial Completion: Two Hundred Fifty Dollars and No Cents ($250.00) per day beyond the substantial completion date. Final Completion: Five Hundred Dollars and No Cents ($500.00) per day beyond the final completion date.
