Renovation of a mixed-use development in Prescott, Arizona. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
Using LiDAR scanning technology, the Contractor shall scan the entire interior of the buildings, including all floors, mechanical floors, and basements where applicable, to create a comprehensive 3D point cloud. The point cloud data shall be used to develop CAD plans, sections, elevations, and Building Information Modeling (BIM) models for future use in the ArcGIS Indoors Program. Every room on each floor shall be scanned from floor level to ceiling tiles, as well as all interior common areas, hallways, and non-enclosed spaces, including mechanical floors and basements, to ensure complete interior coverage. In addition, all monuments and land installations shall be scanned around their entire circumference to allow accurate location and inclusion of their footprints in drawings and models, with the exception of items smaller than one inch. All LiDAR scans shall include geo-location information and meet a minimum resolution of plus or minus 4 millimeters. Assets within scanned areas, such as faucets, toilets, and air conditioning terminals, shall be captured and labeled where supported by the 3D point cloud software. Scanning activities in active interior areas shall be conducted in a manner that minimizes disruption to staff and patients, including reducing the time rooms must be cleared for scanning. The use of drones for scanning on federal property is permitted only if all required drone use permits have been obtained and approved prior to the start of any drone-related work. Questions: All questions must be submitted in writing and emailed to kyle.cipra@va.gov. Questions must be received no later than, 11:00 a.m. MST Time April 21st, 2026. The Government reserves the right to not answer questions not meeting this timeline. All responses to questions will be incorporated into a written amendment.
