The Bureau of Land Management requires a contractor to perform a Firm-fixed-Price Construction Purchase Order for the replacement of the roof of the EL Malpais Ranger Station Visitor Center and Workshop at Grants, NM 87020. The Contractor shall be responsible for all professional services, permits, equipment, labor, tools, materials, and ancillary items necessary to complete the tasks defined by the Statement of Work (SOW). The Contractor shall adhere to applicable codes and regulations including the Uniform Building Code (UBC), Southern Standard Building Codes, International Building Code (IBC), New Mexico State Statutes, New Mexico Department of Transportation, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Requirements, Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) Regulations, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Regulations, and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Compliance Requirements, applying the most stringent requirements in case of conflict. All work must be accomplished in accordance with contract documents and most recent Federal and State regulations. All work shall be in strict compliance with the specifications of the contract and performed in accordance with the SOW, applicable Construction Wage Rate, and all other contract terms and conditions. The requirement is set aside for Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises under NAICS 238160 (Roofing Contractors, $19M). Payment and performance bonds are required at 100%. The successful offeror will be selected using Price and Other Factors procedure. Place of Performance: The work to be performed under this contract will be performed at El Malpais Ranger Station/Visitor Center is located approximately 13 miles southeast of Grants, New Mexico. From I40, take exit 89 onto New Mexico highway 117 and go south approximately 9.2 miles. The El Malpais Ranger Station/Visitor Center will be on East side of Highway 117.
