Site work and asbestos abatement for an educational facility in Boston, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility; and for asbestos abatement for a educational facility.
SCOPE OF WORK The contractor shall be responsible to assure that all materials used comply with all applicable laws, ordinances, rules, regulations and codes and are compatible with pre-existing materials and equipment. The extent of lead abatement work includes, but is not limited to the following:a. Lead Paint Abatement as outlined in the Massachusetts PCAD and Lead Inspection Report with Addendum (Appendix III) - Removal of paint, plaster or other accessible structural material containing dangerous levels of lead or the replacement of the architectural fixture or element containing lead-based paint, other coating, plaster or putty other accessible structural material containing dangerous levels of lead. b. The Contractor will be required to apply a primer coat to all surfaces that have been abated or made intact. The Contractor will be responsible for the final finish coat of paint to match the existing adjacent color. All questions should be emailed to bidderinfo@bostonpublicschools.org
