This project addresses the need to relocate a pressure vessel and air compressor to optimize facility layout and ensure code compliance. The goal is to safely disconnect, reroute, and reinstall the mechanical and electrical components at a new designated location, including the installation of new wall penetrations and a dedicated 30-amp power circuit. This scope involves the removal of legacy piping and the installation of new anchor systems, hangers, and fittings to restore full operational service. The vendor shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to perform the mechanical and electrical relocation tasks. For the mechanical portion, the vendor will disconnect the existing piping from the pressure vessel and remove all lines from the vessel through the wall penetration back to the 2" supply line above the entryway. After the vessel is moved by City personnel, the vendor will supply and install an anchor system with at least two diagonal anchor points and ensure the vessel maintains an 18" clearance on all sides. The vendor will perform one new wall penetration above the entryway and install all necessary hangers, pipe, and fittings to connect the existing supply line to the newly located pressure vessel before conducting a full leak test. Regarding the electrical requirements, the vendor will pull a new 30-amp, 480-volt circuit to the new compressor location and complete all final wiring for the unit.
