Sealed bids will be received for Contract No. 2026-02 2026 Road Milling and Asphalt Seal Coating. Equipment and services to be provided shall be according to the specifications on file. All bidders must be PennDOT pre-qualified as a prime contractor and must meet the necessary work classification codes. All bids must have the contractor's valid pre-qualification certification attached or they will be rejected. No bid may be withdrawn for ninety days after the opening. Contractors must submit an E-Verify Program Verification. A certified check payable to the Borough of West Mifflin or a bid bond executed by the bidder and an approved surety company, in an amount equal to ten percent of the total amount of bid, must be submitted with each bid or the bids will be considered nonresponsive and immediately rejected. The successful bidder must provide a performance surety in the amount of one hundred percent of the contract amount. All qualified bidders are invited to submit a proposal. The Borough reserves the right to award or reject any and/or all portions of proposals submitted and to waive informalities in the bidding process if in the best interest of the Borough.
