Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Saint Maries, Idaho. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; transportation facility; and for paving for a road / highway.
Work associated with the proposed improvements is generally described as follows: Schedule A Construct Taxilane: Removal of embankment, drainage modifications, aggregate base course and bituminous pavement, mulched seeding and pavement markings. Schedule B Construct Vehicle Road: Install culvert, gravel road installation, and mulched seeding. Bidders must register with QuestCDN.com to download bidding documents and submit bids online. A bid guaranty of 5 percent of the total bid amount is required, as well as separate performance and payment bonds, each in the amount of 100 percent of the total contract amount. Each bidder must supply all required information by the Bid Documents and Specifications. No contractor, subcontractor, or specialty contractor is required to have a current Idaho license to submit a bid, but prior to award and execution of the contract, the successful bidder and all subcontractors must secure an Idaho Public Works Contractor's License. All questions should be directed to the Project Engineer as designated. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive informalities, and negotiate contract terms with the successful bidder.
