Milling of asphalt pavement. Installation of asphalt pavement (materials to be supplied and hauled by various governmental municipalities throughout the Adirondack region). Construction of concrete curb and concrete sidewalk. All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked: Bid for Highway/Concrete Work May 6, 2026. Description of Items are as follows: Item #1 and Item #2 are to include the price for the following: VILLAGE OF SARANAC LAKE WILL BE PURCHASING ALL CONCRETE NEEDED TO COMPLETE THIS OPERATION. CONTRACTOR WILL BE IN CHARGE OF THE SCHEDULING. -6" wide curb by 18" tall Type J concrete -Mountable Curb (per attached detail sheet) Type J concrete -all necessary curing and protection of new concrete curb during initial setting that will include any cold weather provisions for protection. -all mobilization and demobilization to the site -Village DPW to take care of all excavation for curb as well as any necessary backfilling prior to sidewalk construction. -quantities are approximate and will be paid by the actual installed and measured linear foot. Item #3 is to include the price for the following: VILLAGE OF SARANAC LAKE WILL BE PURCHASING ALL CONCRETE NEEDED TO COMPLETE THIS OPERATION. CONTRACTOR WILL BE IN CHARGE OF THE SCHEDULING. -4" thick and 6" thick concrete sidewalk of various widths using Type F concrete -Village DPW to take care of all backfilling behind the curb as well as fine grading for sidewalks -all necessary curing and protection of new concrete sidewalk during initial setting that will include any cold weather provisions for protection. -all mobilization and demobilization to the site -quantities are approximate and will be paid by the actual installed and measured square foot.
