Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Driggs, Idaho. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; sidewalk / parking lot; and road / highway.
The project consists of reconstructing the approximately one-mile 5th Street / Johnson Avenue roadway corridor with two paved lanes, concrete ribbon curb, and a separated multi-use path. Additional work includes irrigation ditches, culverts, illumination, concrete sidewalk, and roadway approaches. The contractor is also responsible for traffic control through the duration of the project and must adhere to the Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD). For bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. Bids must be accompanied by bid security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check in the amount of 5% of the bid proposal. The City of Driggs reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive any nonmaterial irregularities in the bids received, and to accept the proposal deemed most advantageous to the best interest of the City of Driggs.
