Teton School District 401 is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide broadband internet services to all of its schools and administrative buildings for an initial 3- or 4-year contract term, with optional extensions. This request for proposals (RFP) seeks a service provider capable of delivering reliable, scalable, high-speed internet access to support the district's academic, administrative, and operational needs. The district aims to enhance its digital learning environment, support online educational platforms, and ensure equitable access to technology for all students and staff. The selected vendor will provide high-speed broadband internet services to Teton School District 401 beginning July 1, 2026, and continuing through the length of the proposed contract. Teton School District 401 requires broadband service delivered to an origi-nation point in Driggs, ID, where TSD 401 infrastructure routes service to its schools. Service Origination: Network Operating Center at 500 North 1st East, Driggs, Idaho. The broadband service must meet the following requirements: Speed Requirements: Minimum download speed of 2 Gbps per location Minimum upload speed of 2 Gbps per location Reliability: Service uptime of 99.99% or better Guaranteed response times for service issues within one (1) hour during school operating hours and an expectation for hourly communication until verification that service has been restored. Scalability: The system should be able to scale up as the district's needs grow over time. Proposals should include information on how the service can handle increases in usage (e.g., adding more devices, expanding bandwidth). Latency and Packet Loss: Latency should be below 10 ms. Packet loss should be below 25% Security and Compliance: The internet service should comply with all federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., CIPA, FERPA). Proposals should include details on security measures to protect against cyber threats. Equipment Provided: The vendor will provide and maintain necessary equipment (routers, modems, etc.) to support the service. Equipment must be compatible with the existing school district IT infrastructure.
