The work involves airfield pavement maintenance at Driggs-Reed Memorial Airport, including Schedule I for Taxiway A, taxilanes, and ramp areas. Major bid items and approximate quantities are: - Mobilization (1 LS, max 10%) - Minor crack repair (30,500 LF) - Major crack repair with mastic (8,600 LF) - Asphalt patching (40 tons) - Asphalt surface treatment, 2:1 dilution (60,700 SY) - Asphalt surface treatment, 1:1 dilution (18,000 SY) - Temporary pavement markings (7,900 SF) - Permanent pavement markings (7,900 SF) Bid Alternative 1: Heavy surface treatment (23,800 SY) Bid Alternative 2: Asphalt surface treatment, 2:1 dilution (23,800 SY) Bidders must be listed as a planholder to submit a responsive bid and to receive addenda. It is the planholder's responsibility to check for addenda or changes—including environmental changes—before submitting a proposal. All bidders must arrange to examine the site to become familiar with conditions prior to bidding. Bidders are required to bid on all items of every schedule or as otherwise detailed. Bids may be held for up to 90 days for evaluation. No bid may be withdrawn after opening. The Owner reserves the right to waive informality and to reject any or all bids. A bid bond (5% of total bid) is required. Successful bidders must provide performance and payment bonds at 100% of contract price. Federal requirements apply, including Buy American Preference, Title VI, Trade Restriction, Federal Fair Labor Standards Act, procurement of recovered materials, DBE participation requirements, and prohibition of covered unmanned aircraft systems.
