Site work, paving and new construction of a fire / police facility in Shiloh, Illinois. Completed plans call for the construction of a 15,839-square-foot, two-story above grade fire / police facility.
Construction of a police department. The size of the building is approximately 15,839SF and includes an ICC storm shelter, office spaces, holding rooms and a processing lab. The building is constructed with structural steel, CMU, brick and metal wall panels. Sealed bids are being solicited for Concrete, Masonry, Steel, General Trades/Carpentry, membrane roofing/standing seam roof/sheet metal, Aluminum Storefront/curtainwall/glass and glazing, Metal Studs/Drywall/ACT, Flooring, Resinous Flooring, Painting, Elevators, Fire Sprinklers, Plumbing/Site Water/Site Sanitary Sewer, HVAC, Electrical/fire alarm, and Earthwork/Storm Sewer and asphalt paving, for the construction of the Shiloh Police Station. A Bid Security is required in the amount of five percent of the Proposal, payable unconditionally to the Owner, by certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond from a surety licensed in Illinois. The project has a BEP utilization goal of 7.6% WBE and 4.5% MBE.
