Sealed proposals are requested by electronic bid for maintenance improvements at the Troy Aquatic Park in accordance with the specifications and drawings. Bidders must acquire complete sets of bidding documents and follow the designated electronic bidding process at www.bidexpress.com. Bidders are required to register, set up, and review solicitations before bidding. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled at the project site, and attendance is strongly encouraged. All contractors and subcontractors involved must, to the extent practical, use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor. Compliance with prevailing wage rates in Miami County and the City of Troy, as determined by the Ohio Department of Industrial Relations, is required. Each proposal must be accompanied by a bid guaranty: either a bid bond in the amount of 100% payable to the City of Troy, or a certified check, cashier's check, official bank check, or a letter of credit in the amount of 10% payable to the City of Troy. The City of Troy reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities, and to select the bid that is deemed best.
