Site work and paving for a road / highway in Conroe, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Sealed bids, consisting of one original and one copy, are solicited for the Old Houston Road Segment 1 Widening project, from SH 242 to 0.8 miles south of SH 242, Precinct #4. Bids are to be submitted to the Montgomery County Purchasing Agent. Specifications can be obtained at the Montgomery County Purchasing Agent's office or downloaded from the Purchasing website. All bids must be submitted on a lump sum basis as outlined in the bid specifications. Payment terms are net thirty days after receipt of products, materials, services or invoices, unless otherwise specified. A Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount from an approved surety company is required with each bid. If awarded, the successful bidder must provide a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each for 100% of the project amount. A prevailing wage rate is prescribed for this project. Vendors are responsible for monitoring the Purchasing Department website for any issued Addenda.
