Sealed bids are invited for the HVAC repair project at FORT WAYNE AIRWING BLDG 298 BDOC, located at 3005 West Ferguson Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana, for the Indiana Army National Guard. Proposals must be submitted on the appropriate bid form via email, including the bidder's name and address, and must comply with the Instructions to Bidders. A Bid Bond payable to the Adjutant General's Office, State of Indiana, in the amount of at least five percent of the maximum bid (including all additive alternates), must accompany each bid. All bidders must be Certified Contractors, holding a valid Certificate of Qualification 1541.01 or 1542.01 or 1542.02 or 1791.01 at the time of bid opening. Certification with the Department of Transportation will not be accepted. The bidder must be qualified in the classification of the prime contract. The contract will be awarded or rejected within sixty days of opening. Contracts must comply with I.C. 4-13-18 (Contractor's Employee Drug Testing). For this project, construction goals are set at MBE 7%, WBE 5%, and IVBE 3%. Complete contract documents are available in electronic form through the specified contacts. All RFIs and product substitution requests must be submitted in writing. The State Armory Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
