Description

Site work for a development in Williams, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a conservation development.

This project is for a Tile Zone nutrient reduction wetland. In general, the work involves, but is not limited to, selective clearing, excavation, grading, reinforced concrete pipe (RCP) installation, high density polyethylene (HDPE) dual wall pipe installation, tied concrete block mat (Flexamat Plus or engineer approved equal), concrete manholes and seeding. The project includes approximately 21,135 cubic yards of earthwork, 2,645 LF of RCP, 1,579 LF of HDPE dual wall pipe, 2,350 square feet of Tied Concrete Block Mat, 2 concrete manholes, and 2.9 acres of seeding. Bids must be submitted on the provided bid forms and include a bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%). Bidders must be registered with the Iowa Department of Inspections, Appeals & Licensing. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance/Payment Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. The Division reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technicalities and irregularities.
